Turbine/Diesel/Rotating Senior Maintenance Technician – Oil and Gas x 2
- Report to Mechanical Maintenance Unit Supervisor
- Area: Bouri Offshore – located 120 kilometers (75 mi) north of the Libyan coast in the Mediterranean Sea
- Rotation Schedule: 4 Weeks On/4 Weeks Off – Only working days are paid.
- Minimum 1 Year appointment period
Coordinates and execute in agreement with the Company Policies and Safety & Environment
Standards, the following tasks:
- Perform all types of maintenance works (preventive, predictive and corrective) required by the management within the specialization capacity on the resources (i.e. overhauling, repair, replace spare parts on various types and sizes of turbine, diesel engines and rotating machineries).
- Knowledgeable on using various mechanical gauges and test devices (sliding gauges, micrometer, centesimal comparators, etc.) and comparing related values with those reported in the mechanical drawings and adjust the machines, equipment, devices, etc according to the OEM and maintenance operation manuals.
- Ability to perform machinery alignment according to standard alignment methods.
- Follow and instruct the Junior Turbine & Diesel Technician about equipment servicing and working methods.
- Relay all significant technical information or data to unit supervisor that could be useful for future jobs or maintenance plan.
Educational Level and Training:
- High Diploma combined with qualification or possessed related training certificates (Turbine & Diesel Mechanic).
- English language literate.
- BOSIET (Offshore Survival and Fire Fighting) and H2S Training Course.
Required Experience:
- Not less than 8 years’ experience as Turbine & Diesel Mechanical Technician with Rotating
Machineries background in Oil and Gas Industry.
